2-year, Regionally accredited
This two-year college with nine campuses has open admissions (only requirement is a high school diploma or equivalent) and no tuition premium for out-of-state students. While the school's name includes the word "military" less than 260 of 7,262 students are in the limited-enrollment Army ROTC program. The majority of the students are in 27 Associate's programs in Arts, Science and Applied Science.
Interestingly, we reviewed this college in 2014 as a Nominee for a Best Value School Award. When our Selection Committee declined to approve the school Georgia Military College's administration asked what they could do to improve their chances of being selected in 2015. That of course impressed us, but what impressed us even more was that they made the minor adjustments we recommended. This attention to detail demonstrates Georgia Military College's desire to provide the very best two-year experience possible. And now they have two consecutive Best Value School awards.
We encourage those students, of all ages, races and nationalities who are interested in a two-year Associate's program to consider Georgia Military College.
