Most of Aspen’s students are adults (25 or older) enrolled in online masters degree programs on a part time basis. MBA programs are popular, especially with working adults. Students appreciate the flexible schedule for completing coursework, which many assess as rigorous and challenging. Aspen is not the school for 18 year olds or those students requiring handholding by their instructors.
Aspen has an online masters in nursing program, accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), that costs about $13,000. Their RN-to-BSN program is in “applicant status” with CCNE, so those interested in this type of program should keep an eye on its status.
While some may argue the benefits of regional accreditation it is important to note that most government agencies, and all Federal agencies, recognize nationally accredited schools. So a government employee can earn an MBA at Aspen that meets all the requirements for advancement.
