DRAFT

This coed institution is located in the hills of Northern Georgia and prides itself on its long history and progressive development, attaining four-year baccalaureate status in 2007.  All students are fulltime undergrads, almost all are under 24 years of age and from Georgia.

Popular programs include biology, business and visual/performing arts, none of which are available online at this time. Students absolutely love the beautiful campus, and our researchers rated Young Harris in the top group for positive student comments.

Financial aid is generous, especially institutional grants and scholarships (received by 100% of the students according to Education Department reporting).  While “list price” costs are in the $30K-$40K range, “net cost” is about $16K, making Young Harris College a great value.  For those thinking about attending a relatively small, reasonably priced, friendly college whose own students rank it high on the “I love my school” meter, we suggest a close look at Young Harris College.

What our Students are Saying...

"Young Harris College is an amazing college with a beautiful campus. The classes are very challenging but they are worth it in the end. I recommend this college to everyone because you will fall in love with the school."

"There is a very wide range of courses offered at YHC, and teachers are so involved in helping each individual student. It is a comfortable learning environment. It is a little pricey since it's a small, private liberal arts college, but YHC provides great scholarships and financial help to those who need it."

"Young Harris College is truly a one-of-a-kind private institution. I made a very good decision when I decided to attend Young Harris. Nearly 90% of the student body receives some form of financial assistance by the school and the student-faculty ratio is like 12-1."
